Fall is a fun, festive time around Michiana, with several great events for all ages that are perfect for celebrating the season. Whether you're in the mood for a haunted experience, kid-friendly Halloween event, or exciting fall festival, there's sure to be an event for you. The Michiana Festival of Beers returns once again to Four Winds Field near South Bend homes for sale, with a full afternoon of great food, craft beer, and live entertainment on tap. Tickets include unlimited samples of craft beer, cider, and mead, with the best local food trucks on-site and live music on stage. It all takes place on October 25, 2025, from 3 – 6 p.m.
Next up is an event that's perfect for spooky season, with Whispers from the Past Ghost Tours at the Morris Performing Arts Center. Go behind the scenes at the historic performance venue, exploring hidden places and discovering its haunted past filled with local legends. Tours are available on select dates this fall, including October 9, 17, 23 & 31, 2025, with most tours starting at 7 p.m.

Do you love scary movies? Put your knowledge to the test with Halloween Movie Trivia at Silver Harbor Brewing Company, around the corner from St. Joseph homes for sale. The event is free to play, with tough trivia questions on Halloween movies and great prizes for the winners. The fun takes place on October 23, 2025, with doors opening at 6 p.m. and trivia kicking off one hour later.
A family favorite for Halloween in South Bend, Zoo Boo returns to the Potawatomi Zoo on October 17-19 & 24-26, 2025. This year's event includes themed weekends for the first time, with Princesses & Heroes the first weekend and Witches & Wizardry for the second weekend. On both weekends, kids can see the animals, ride the haunted train, go trick-or-treating, and see their favorite zoo fully decorated for Halloween.
In the mood for a spooky murder mystery? The History Museum will be hosting Mystery at the Mansion on October 17 & 24, 2025, where you can help unravel the truth around a mysterious shipwreck at an opulent party on Lake Michigan. This is one of the museum's most popular annual events, so be sure to order your tickets in advance.
