SOUTH BEND, Ind. - South Bend's real estate market is getting a high-tech boost. Local firms are increasingly turning to artificial intelligence to speed up transactions, train agents and connect buyers with homes—tools that are helping the region not just move property but also attract and retain workers.
At real estate firm Cressy & Everett, co...
The Cressy & Everett community recently showed their support of the Michiana community through a South Bend Medical Foundation blood drive. The South Bend office hosted the event on July 12.
For many, the yearly drive is an opportunity to provide blood and blood products during a time of critical shortage. For others, the choice to donate was personal.
For Agent Maria Lisenko donating her blood was an opportunity to stave off her fear of needles while saving lives. "I did it!" she said. "Having a rarer blood type, I always wanted to donate but couldn't because of fear. But, I know there is a need for my blood."
Lisenko has O+ blood type, meaning she is a universal donor to all positive Rh factor blood types. According to the South Bend Medic...

The year 2020 has looked very different for all of us, and it is especially profound during the holiday season when people are not gathering as much as usual. Cressy & Everett Real Estate usually hosts annual holiday gatherings for their REALTORS and staff throughout the footprint of our 12 office locations in southwestern Michigan and northern Indiana. With the current events and commitment to respect the safety guidelines, the leadership team had to think outside of the box. They wanted to create the feeling and experience of bringing everyone together, but someh...

The Concours d'Elegance at Copshaholm is one of the best annual events in South Bend and our real estate agents are pleased to see its return on Saturday, July 13. Classic car lovers from Indiana and beyond will cruise over to the John D. Oliver House to enjoy an afternoon gazing at stunning vehicles. This event is touted as one of the premier celebrations for automotive design and styling in the state. Though this is only the second year that the Copshaholm will host this event, the Concours d'Elegance is not new to Sound Bend.
Concours d'Elegance's first event took place in 2005. From then until 2017, it was known as the Lake Bluff Concours d'Elegance. Taking place at Lake Bluff Park in downtown, the show featured dozens of automobiles and plenty of family activities. Unfortunately, Lake Bluff Park stopped hosting the event after its 13th year, leaving its future uncertain.
Thankfully, the Studebaker National Museum was interested in hosting their own Concours d'Elegance event. Partnering with their neighbor, The History Museum, the first Concours d'Elegance at Copshaholm took place in 2018. We're so excited that the Studebaker National Museum and The History Museum have agreed to host this event once again during 2019!
